GKD Industries is proud of its reputation for consistently producing high quality products. In 1996 we began the rigorous process to formalize our quality assurance processes in accordance with ISO standards (the International Organization for Standardization).
The result was certification of GKD Industries, first effective July 23, 1997, to Quality System Standard ISO 9002:1994 applicable to: "The machining, manufacture and sale of well stimulation, wireline and flow control equipment, and a proprietary line of tools".
Effective January 27, 2004 we successfully transitioned to Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000 in relation to: "Products and machining services focused on well stimulation, wireline and flow control equipment for the oil and gas industry". Our Quality Registrar is PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in Canada.
Another example of GKD Industries' commitment to quality is our recently obtained DNV Type Approval. Effective December 12, 2004, we received from Det Norske Veritas Type Approval of our Fig. 1502 Union Connections and Pup Joint Assemblies. View our DNV Certificate
GKD Industries' quality system is aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing non-conformity at all stages of production, not just when inspecting the final product. This requires commitment from staff at all levels in our organization and is best summarized by our formal quality policy below:

"Doing It Right The First Time” is the essence of the GKD Quality Policy.
Our quality system complies with the International Quality Standard, ISO 9001:2000. The quality system ensures that GKD products and the selling and distribution thereof consistently meet or exceed customers’ agreed requirements.
The GKD quality system begins with the agreed contract with the customer and carries through to delivery and acceptance of our product by the customer. At every stage, the family of GKD employees are involved either directly in the manufacture, selling and distribution of the product or in support of these business processes.
We, the staff and management of GKD, pledge to serve and support each other in all business processes to ensure we consistently deliver high quality products. We also strive to continuously improve our quality system by measuring its effectiveness and responding to the needs of our customers.
